Welcome to my site.

My career has been quite varied but I would describe myself as an Electrical Engineer.

My interests include Electrical/Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy/Cosmology, Photography, Computing/Artificial Intelligence, Bird Watching, Listening to Music (eclectic taste but biased towards classical, opera in particular).

The inspiration for the title of my blog comes from an idea that formed during a thought experiment which led me to hypothesise a convoluted (fanfold) structure to spacetime. A possible explanation for the phenomena of quantum entanglement. I have included my hypothesis, for which I coined the term Fanfold Universe, as one of my musings. My theory may prove to be wrong, that’s always a possibility when you try to explain the unexplainable, but that’s what makes it exciting. No matter, it generated an interesting title for a blog as a useful side effect.
